Zac

"Tabby and I came to have a talk with you guys," Isaac said, watching me as I hoisted Tabitha up onto my hip.

She reached for Taylor once she was eye level with him. I glared at him over her head and he smiled innocently at me, stuffing his hands into his jeans pockets. "I can't carry you right now, Tabs," he told her. "My arms are too tired."

When she turned back to me, she was pouting. "Daddy says we have to have a sit-down talk," she told me, reaching up and tugging on my hair. I followed Isaac and Taylor into the living room. "Mommy and Daddy used to have sit-down talks and they weren't good."

"I told you that it's not a bad talk, Tabitha." Isaac sounded exasperated as he sat down on the couch, rubbing a hand over his unusually unshaven face. "Come sit over here, okay?"

I let her down and she climbed onto the couch next to her father. Taylor and I sat on the love seat and glanced at each other in confusion momentarily before looking expectantly at Isaac. "So, what's this about?" he asked.

"I want to have a discussion with Tabitha about the two of you," he said and Tabitha gave him a rather amusing look.

"You said I couldn't ask you anymore questions about it," she informed him. "You said that I had to-"

"I wanted you to be able to ask them your questions, okay?"

"Are you sure, Ike?" Taylor asked, moving on the couch so that he was sitting on his feet and leaning against me. I put my arm around his waist and wanted to laugh at how closely Tabitha was watching us, but I managed not to.

"Yeah," he sighed, looking at me. "You're right, Zac. I was being a total jerk and she should know."

"Know what?" she asked. "Can I ask my questions now?"

Isaac messed up her hair a little bit while he nodded. "Sure."

"How come you sleep in the same bed?" she asked. "You don't sleep in the same bed with Daddy or Auntie Jessica or Avery or Zoe or Uncle Mac."

"Um..." I laughed a little, rubbing my thumb against Taylor's hip bone. "Taylor and I have a...we're like your daddy and mommy used to be."

She furrowed her eyebrows at us and said, "Why?"

"Because we love each other," Taylor offered. "Like Jessica and Joe."

"Why?" She looked so bewildered that I almost wished Isaac hadn't let us have this conversation with her. Zoe had been almost as young but she had lived with us and seen us every day; it hadn't been a shock at all or confusing.

"They fell in love," Isaac said when both of us couldn't come up with a good answer. "When people fall in love, it doesn't always end up being who you thought it would be. You don't get to pick who you fall in love with."

"So...are you married?" she asked.

"Why can't the whole world think like that?" Taylor muttered and I smiled, pulling him closer to me. "We're not married, no," he said. "We're not allowed to get married."

"Why not?"

"Taylor and Zac's relationship isn't exactly..." Isaac looked at us for help while Tabitha stared expectantly at him.

"You know how sometimes when your daddy is on TV he doesn't say certain things?" I asked her and she thought for a minute before nodding her head. "Why doesn't he say them?"

"Because...there's things that are just family things," she told me and I wondered how often Isaac had to remind her of that fact.

"This is one of those family things," Isaac told her.

"Tabby, people don't really like it when two boys are in love," Taylor told her. "And they especially don't like it if those two boys are brothers."

"Why not?" She asked with a frown.

"Because people don't understand it," Isaac told her, tugging on one of her pigtails. "And remember what I told you about people who don't understand things?"

"You said...sometimes they get mad and try to get rid of them." She frowned at us. "I don't want anybody to get rid of you!"

Taylor nuzzled into me and I could feel him smiling against my shoulder. "Nobody's going to get rid of us," he told her. "But that's why we can't get married. And we're okay with that because we don't need that to know that we'll always be together."

I squeezed him a little bit tighter and wished I could climb all over him and give him lots and lots of kisses, but I managed to restrain myself. "But we have to pretend that we're not in love with each other, that we're just brothers, otherwise people will be very mean to us," I said and she nodded her head.

"Okay."

"Do you have any other questions?" Isaac asked.

"Not right now," she said with a shake of her head.

Taylor grinned and got up from the couch, bending down to give her a hug. "You let us know if you have any, okay?"

* * * * * * * * * *

After Isaac and Tabitha left, Taylor called mom to let her know that everything was good between all of us again. He talked to her for a few more minutes - it was almost impossible to get them off the phone sometimes - before he was sitting in my lap with a ridiculous grin on his face. "I love you," he said, rubbing his nose against mine.

"I love you, too," I laughed, looping my arms around his waist.

"I think she handled it very well, don't you?" he asked, resting his head onto my chest and running his fingers along my arms.

"Mmhmm."

We stayed like that for a while, me with my hands tucked into the back pockets of his jeans and him tracing patterns on my forearms. I was almost asleep with his head resting on my chest as my pillow when he mumbled, "I kind of promised mom you'd make peach cobbler to bring tonight."

"Are you serious?" I whined, squirming until he moved off of me and smiled.

"She had to take Mac to his football practice so she didn't have time to make dessert so..."

"We couldn't have just stopped at the store on our way over?" I asked. "We don't even have any peaches, Tay."

"Yeah we do," he said. "In the fruit basket."

I groaned and shoved him, making him fall back onto the arm of the couch with a laugh. "I need canned peaches."

"Really?" He pouted. "I really wanted peach cobbler."

"If I make it do you promise to eat two pieces of it?" I tried to bargain. He narrowed his eyes at me and I smiled, getting up from the couch. "Cause if you promise, I'll work my magic and make the cobbler out of the fresh peaches."

Normally, I was able to look past how thin he was, but every once in a while one of his bones would stick out a little too far and I'd remember that I was supposed to be making sure that he ate 1,500 calories a day to maintain his weight - 2,200 if I wanted him to gain anything. I was really doing a terrible job of that lately and I really had to pay more attention. I was pretty sure that he'd lost at least another five pounds in the past week and where Taylor is concerned, five pounds can be extremely scary.

"Fine," he mumbled.

* * * * * * * * * *

Taylor sat at the breakfast counter and watched me cook the peaches in sugar and water. Then he was making Princess dance on the counter - something that was entirely too amusing but probably kind of cruel at the same time - and giggling relentlessly. Then he was standing behind me and pawing at my chest while I mixed the dough. "You're so hot when you cook," he told me and I snorted, taking my bowl towards the stove where I had a pan greased up.

"You are," he whined. "Hurry up and finish so that you can give me a blow job while it's cooking."

"What?" I asked, turning to raise my eyebrows at him and laughing.

He pouted and I rolled my eyes and shook my head in amusement before I turned back to the cobbler. "Fine," he said, his voice a little high pitched. "I'll be in the bedroom alone, then."

Over the years, Taylor and I had established a fairly extensive collection of bedroom playthings. We really liked to make sure that our love making never got boring or repetitive, so we used a lot of different ways to mix it up. I could probably count on one hand the number of times I'd had to get myself off, though, since Taylor and I had moved into our own place and I imagine that he could do the same. The toys weren't really for that purpose. So when I heard him making sounds that I was used to hearing directly in my ear, I made sure to get the cobbler into the oven as quickly as possible.

When I got into our bedroom, Taylor was panting on the bed looking relatively triumphant when he opened his eyes and saw me. I kind of stopped and stood stupidly in the doorway, watching him for a good couple of minutes until he said, "Are you going to come over here or do I have to keep doing this myself?"

I didn't have to think twice before I was crawling across the bed towards him and closing my mouth over his.

* * * * * * * * * *

The ride to our parent's house was spent listening to Taylor sing along to Enrique Inglesias. He also felt the need to move around a lot and bounce so that the car shook when we were at stoplights. I mostly wanted to go to sleep after having sex in the morning and then twice in the afternoon. I was totally wiped out and I had absolutely no idea how he still had so much energy. "Are you taking caffeine pills again?" I asked him when we stopped at a light in Glenpool and he started making the entire car sway back and forth to Enrique's music.

"What?"

"How are you not completely exhausted?" I asked, shifting into first gear as the light turned green. "I feel like I could sleep for two days."

He grinned and squeezed my knee. "Aw, did I tire little Zaccy out?" he cooed obnoxiously.

"Shut up," I grumbled, swatting his hand away.

"I'm sorry," he said, looking at me with furrowed eyebrows.

I sighed and took his hand in mine, squeezing tightly. "For what?"

"Um...wanting to have sex all the time?"

"Why are you sorry?" I asked, glancing at him as I slowed down to turn onto Hectorville Road.

"It seems like it bothers you?" He suggested, fiddling with a hole in the knee of his jeans.

"It doesn't...Taylor, I would never, ever, ever want to turn down an opportunity to have sex with you," I informed him. "Trust me. That would be insanely stupid and there are plenty of people in the world who would kill me for that."

I grinned as I watched him blush. "Then why does it seem like it bothers you?" he asked while I entered the code to get into our parent's driveway.

"I don't know. Maybe I'm old."

"I'm kind of older than you are," he laughed.

I squeezed his hand again and watched him frown from the corner of my eye. "It doesn't bother me, Tay," I told him. "I promise. I'm just jealous of your ability to bounce back and have energy when I just want to go to sleep."

"We can take a nap when we get home," he suggested.

"We're not going to get home until, like, eight. Taking a nap then would be pointless, I may as well just stay up for two more hours and go to sleep at ten."

"Well...I kind of wanted to go to LuLu's at eleven or twelve. Jill and Toby are going to be there and we haven't seen them in forever and Jill sent me a really not nice e-mail wondering if we're dead...so I kind of told her that we'd be there tonight."

"You've been kind of telling people a lot of stuff, huh?" I asked, parking the car behind Isaac's jeep.

"It's a good thing you love me, huh?"

AWWW they are so CUTE!!!

somehow I am a wee bit wary of Taylor's obsessiveness with sex. I hope I'm worrying for no reason... and that it's not going to end up being a bad thing.

Yay for Ike letting Zaylor talk to Tabitha. and even further yay that she took it so well.

Best part this chapter::

"Are you going to come over here or do I have to keep doing this myself?"

I didn't have to think twice before I was crawling across the bed towards him and closing my mouth over his.

I was just going to say the exact same thing. They're just so cute together! And I love Tabby, she seems adorable.
